About DMR
DMR Bağımsız Denetim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. (DMR) was founded in 2007 within the framework of legal regulations and professional legislation in Turkey and international professional standards. With its expert staff and qualified service, DMR provides services to local and foreign companies in the fields of audit, assurance and consultancy.
Ever-changing economic conditions and investment areas that become more complex in parallel with financial operations, financial reporting standards and legal regulations have increased the importance of the professional approaches that companies need while carrying out their activities. DMR; accordingly, provides support to companies in managing uncertainties as well as making predictions and planning potential problems that may arise in their activities.
With its professional competence and professional service perspective, DMR has been authorized by the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK) as an Independent Audit Firm under the supervision of Public Interest Organizations (KAYİK). DMR is also listed in the Firms Engaged in Independent Auditing Activities of the Capital Markets Board.
DMR cooperates with international organizations with the vision of being up-to-date and providing services due to international standards. Our company has been operating as a member of the IECnet International Association of Accountants, Auditor and Tax Consultants, within the IFAC Forum of Firms Association since February 2020.
President’s Message
Today regardless of their size, companies should prioritize institutionalization as their foremost objective. The fundamental requirement of institutionalization is to comply with corporate governance principles. If there is lack of efficient accounting and comprehensive audit, it seems impossible for companies to reconcile with corporate governance principles. Companies are subject to audit considering some criteria’s, such as assets amount, revenue amount, number of employees, credit risk limits, foreign exchange positions or being public. However, beyond the necessity of audit, it provides great support and benefit to companies for corporate management and decision-making processes.
